About VeloFantasy
Fantasy cycling, built for the Grand Tours.
What it is
VeloFantasy turns three weeks of professional road racing into a game you play with friends. You draft a squad of 9 real pro cyclists within a 100-credit budget, then score points every day based on what actually happens on the road — stage results, the general classification, the green and polka-dot jerseys, and the unsung work of domestiques who set up their leaders.
It rewards genuine cycling knowledge: spotting the breakaway specialist, the sprinter with the best lead-out, or the cheap teammate on a dominant squad who quietly racks up assist points. Pick well, stay under budget, and climb your league's standings as the race unfolds.
How a race plays out
- Before the Grand Départ — build your team while the transfer market is open, balancing star GC contenders against value picks.
- Every stage — your riders earn points from real results across 11 scoring categories, and the standings update daily.
- Rest days — transfer windows open so you can react to crashes, abandons, and form.
- Paris — final classification bonuses are awarded and a champion is crowned.
New here? The How to Play guide walks through team composition, the budget, and the full scoring system.
The races
VeloFantasy launches with the Tour de France 2026, with the Giro d'Italia and Vuelta a España to follow. Each Grand Tour runs as its own competition with its own startlist, pricing, and leagues.
Optional AI help
A handful of optional, credit-based AI features can lend a hand — an advisor to talk through picks, an auto-pick to draft a balanced squad, and post-stage race reports. They're entirely optional; the game is fully playable without them.
