Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of VeloFantasy (the “Service”) at velofantasy.com. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who can use VeloFantasy

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for providing accurate account details and for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

2. The game

VeloFantasy is a fantasy cycling game played for entertainment. You draft riders, score points based on real race results, and compete in leagues. It is not a betting or gambling service, and no cash prizes are awarded. We may adjust game rules, scoring, rider pricing, and competitions as needed to run the game fairly.

3. Credits and payments

Some optional AI features are powered by credits you can buy through our payment processor, Stripe. Credits:

• are a limited licence to use paid features within the Service;
• have no cash value and are not transferable;
• are generally non-refundable once purchased, except where a refund is required by law or we choose to grant one at our discretion.

Prices for credits and features are shown in the app and may change over time.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• create multiple accounts to gain an unfair advantage, or manipulate scoring or leagues;
• access the Service by automated means, scrape it, or disrupt its operation;
• abuse, harass, or impersonate others, or post unlawful or offensive content;
• attempt to breach the Service's security or access data that isn't yours.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, code, and content, is owned by VeloFantasy and protected by law. Rider names, teams, and race results are real-world facts used for a fantasy game. VeloFantasy is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the organisers of the Tour de France, Giro d'Italia, Vuelta a España, the UCI, or any team.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that scores, standings, or results will always be accurate, uninterrupted, or error-free, and we may correct data (for example, after a scoring or data error).

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VeloFantasy will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

8. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms from time to time; we will revise the “Last updated” date and, for significant changes, may notify you. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
