Fantasy cycling is the best way to make every stage of the Tour de France 2026 matter. Whether your favourite is a GC contender, a sprinter, or a breakaway specialist, VeloFantasy turns the three-week race into your own competition.
The basics
You build a team of 8 professional riders within a 100-credit budget. Every rider has a price based on how good they are — superstars like the yellow-jersey favourites cost a big chunk of your budget, so the game is all about balance and value.
Your squad must cover a mix of rider classes:
- All-Rounders — GC riders who score every day through the overall standings
- Climbers — for the mountain stages and the King of the Mountains jersey
- Sprinters — for the flat stages and the green points jersey
- Unclassed — cheap domestiques who quietly rack up assist points
How you score
You earn fantasy points from real race results, every single stage:
- Stage finishes (top 20)
- Daily GC, points and mountains standings
- Assists — teammates of stage and GC top-3 finishers earn bonus points, so a cheap domestique on a dominant team can be a goldmine
- End-of-race bonuses for the final classifications
That's why the value score matters more than star power — a €5 rider who scores 120 points is better value than a €40 superstar who scores 400.
